Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has warned India not to play with fire by abolishing Article 35A of the constitution and changing special status of the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Commenting on Indian move of tinkling with Article 35A of the Indian constitution that triggered widespread protest all over Kashmir Prime Minister said that if Indian Government touch to Article 35A of the constitution the Kashmiri Nation will resist against the move on both sides of line of control with tooth and nail.
He said that entire political leadership of Azad Kashmir is in close contact with Hurriyat leadership on the issue and will endorse and support all the decisions taken by the Huriyat Leadership in this context.
Expressing his grave concern over the Indian attempt to change the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, he cautioned that the move will highly dangerous for the peace of the region as Kashmiris will never accept Indian occupation of Kashmir as legitimate.
The Prime Minister said that people of Jammu and Kashmir had offered matchless sacrifices to attach their fate with Pakistan by holding flag of Pakistan and day is not far when their sacrifices will crown with success.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Kashmir is disputed territory under UN Security Council Resolution and the issue is still pending on the agenda of UN Security Council and therefore any decision by Indian Parliament or Supreme Court hold no significance.
The Prime Minister also expressed his serious concern on the siege of Sopur Town of occupied Kashmir where at least 8 youth have been martyred during last 24 hours and he called upon the Indian Government to immediately and the siege to allow the supply of essential commodities into the town.
The Prime Minister also called upon International Community and Human Rights Organization to take serious notice of the gross violation of human rights in the held territory.
