Islamabad: (Parliament Times) President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, said that the Pakistani-Kashmiri diaspora community is playing a pivotal role in highlighting the issue of Kashmir in their countries of adoption.
The President made these comments while meeting Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement, Europe, who called on the President here at Jammu and Kashmir House.
The President commended the active participation of the diaspora community in raising their voices for the rights of the Kashmiris and for highlighting the massive human rights violations taking place in Indian Occupied Kashmir. He said that today, the Pakistani-Kashmiri diaspora are ambassadors who have raised their voices for the Kashmir cause.
He urged the diaspora community in mobilizing and sensitizing their parliamentary representatives on the Kashmir dispute and encouraging them to raise questions on Kashmir on the floor of the Parliament.
