Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Office on Thursday summoned Dutch and European Union Ambassador to lodge a strong protest against the publication of blasphemous s caricatures and said that Pakistan could never tolerate such acts.
The FO made it clear that Pakistan has never tolerated such blasphemous act and it should not be expected that we will tolerate it.
On the other hand Caretaker Foreign Minister has written letter to the Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) whereby it has been suggested that stern measures should be taken on the issue of blasphemous caricatures .
“Our capacity of tolerance has been challenged through blasphemous caricatures, It shall be kept in mind that those involved in such acts will be discouraged at every forum as we reserve our right to lodge protest, the letter read.
