ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Minister for Energy Syed Ali Zafar has constituted a seven-member committee to prepare a white paper on power sector.
The Committee, having representation of both government and private sector, will identify issues related to generation, transmission and distribution of power and suggest practical measures to improve the sector.
Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, the Minister for Energy said the committee will transparently identify issues related to recovery, service delivery, line losses and measures to make power sector more stable and sustainable.
He said the report of the Committee will be submitted to the cabinet and published subsequently.
