Lahore: A meeting of senior leadership of PML (N) was held under the chairmanship of former Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting chalked out a strategy for the ensuing general elections of 2018, distribution of tickets including the sub judice cases in NAB and exchanged views to accelerate the public contact campaign.
According to details the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Senator Pervez Rashid, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and Hamza Shahbaz. They exchanged views on the present scenario of the country and party matters.
On this occasion Nawaz Sharif directed the key leaders of the party to accelerate the public contact campaign and by addressing their reservations bring back the disgruntled leaders again into the fold of the party.
Nawaz Sharif constituted a three member committee consisting of Hamza Shahbaz, Ashfaq Sarwar and Malik Nadeem and entrusted them the task to convince the displeased members.
