ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Uzbekistan have agreed to form Joint Working Group to enhance bilateral trade and investment.
The consensus to this effect was reached at a meeting between a high-ranking delegation from Uzbekistan led by Minister for Foreign Trade Khodjaev Jamshaid and Secretary Commerce Mohammad Younus Dagha in Islamabad.
It was resolved that all out efforts would be made to remove impediments hampering bilateral trade including lack of direct cargo links, safe and direct land route and effective banking channels.
