ISLAMABAD: Helaena W. White, Spokesperson South Asia , US State Department said the United States gives respect to Islamabad’s relations with Washington therefore appointment of Urdu translate is a great initiative.
She further said that the bilateral ties between the two countries have 70 years of journey and it is responsibility of Washington to address its policy to people of Pakistan. She further stated that she was appointed on this post for the first time as she was learning Urdu language for quite some time in order to better communication in it.
She was of the opinion that she achieved a long time dream as she was remained student of Urdu language, poetry and culture.
