Lahore: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with daughter Marriyum Nawaz and son in law Captain (r) Safdar on Wednesday left for London to see his ailing wife Begum Kulsoom, who has been receiving treatment for throat cancer (lymphoma) in London.
According to the family sources her health condition has deteriorated after Chemotherapy.
They arrived at Allama Iqbal Open Airport amid high security where they boarded an international airline’s flight QR-629.
Nawaz, Marriyum and Safdar are likely to return on April 22, earlier they had asked the Accountability Court for exemption from Wednesday to Friday.
Weeks earlier the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had ordered names of the three leaders on Exit Control List (ECL) but the Government had refused to do so.
Currently the PML-N Leaders are facing three cases on corruption charges.
Meanwhile the Public Gatherings that were scheduled to be held on 20, 21 and 22 April have been postponed and are likely to be rescheduled.
