Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Tallat Mehmood has directed to finalize members of Executive Body in order to ensure smooth running of daily affairs of hospital without any undue delay. He said that serving the ailing humanity is paramount of all worships. By helping the people suffering from various diseases, victim of earthquake, flood and other natural calamities; we can play our part to make the world a better place to live in, he added. DC further shared that the instincts of helping one another have also been attributed to Goddesses our religion, and Pakistan Red Crescent is acting on these principles of cooperation. He said that Pakistan Red Crescent is not only providing relief to the misfortunate people suffering from distress with their support but also equip thousands of volunteers with first aid training in order to make them prepared to cope with any difficult situation.
He expressed these views while chairing the meeting of Pakistan Red Crescent at Deputy Commissioner Office Rawalpindi. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarter) Saima Younis, Sub-registrar Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Sectary Red Crescent and other concerned officers also attended the meeting.
DC has directed to include members in executive body from different fields i.e Rawalpindi Chamber Of Commerce, education and health department. Sectary PRC briefed the participants about its working. ADC (Headquarter) Saima Younis at this occasion added that stern audit of the funds of hospital to be made in order to ensure the transparency.
