Stop violating sanctity of international institutions, Ch. Latif Akbar tells government
Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) President Pakistan Peoples Party (AJK chapter) Ch. Latif Akbar has said that the incumbent regime must desist from its practices of violating the sanctity of international institutions.
“Red-crescent employees in Neelum district should not be removed from their jobs, if the ruling party (PML-N) wants to recruit its own workers, there are a number of other places where party workers could be adjusted”, Akbar said adding that it was unfortunate on the part of the government that employees working in international institutions were being dismissed to adjust political workers. The PPP president while taking a jibe on legislative assembly speaker said that Shah Ghulam Qadir should refrain from turning Red Crescent into political arena.
“Jobs were also provided on merit basis during the previous governments but incumbent government has been politicizing every institution”, Akbar said adding that PPP won’t allow the government to play with the future of employees. He said over the past two years the ruling party has been removing employees from their jobs and employees were seen protesting day in and day out over the haughtiness of the government. Earlier he said that Police, AKLAS and Ladies Health Workers were mourning on the roads and now the employees of international institutions were being targeted.
