Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has assured that the government will release funds on time for PSDP projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
He was talking to the AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan who called on him in Islamabad on Wednesday. Both the leaders discussed matters relating to development, CPEC, and situation at the Line of Control.
They expressed concern over the situation at Loc and demanded of the international community to take a serious notice of Indian aggression.
Ahsan Iqbal said development budget of AJK will be further enhanced. He announced full assistance for hydel power and tourism related projects in the state.
The Minister said government of Pakistan will fulfill all its obligations to empower AJK Legislative Assembly and government through constitutional reforms.
The AJK Prime Minister thanked federal government for enhancing development budget of the state.
He said work on the projects in communication, tourism, hydel, industry, agriculture, infrastructure development, health and education are speedily underway. He said the ongoing projects would be completed within stipulated time.
