London:(Press Release) Kashmir Voice International (KVI) on Saturday expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sad demise of sad demise of Prof. Liaquat Ali Khan of Watford UK.
According to a press statement the KVI during an emergency meeting paid rich tributes to Khan for his valuable contribution to Kashmiris’ just cause. “Prof. Liaquat a secular noble soul, lover of human values, a highly respected leader in Kashmiri Community in UK passed away on 22 Feb 2018”, the statement said adding that Khan was a matured political leader, highly dedicated to Kashmir cause, an honest and upright person.
The KVI statement said that Khan’s contribution to Kashmir movement in UK was immense and invaluable. “He wanted to unite all the people of the state irrespective of region, religion or ethnicity and had a broad vision for the future of the divided state. His demise is an irreparable loss not only for his family but Kashmir movement in the west also”, the KVI said.
