ATTOCK: MPA Syed Ijaz Hussain Bokhari has said that the forth coming general election will be an eye opener for all. “Leadership of PTI must keep in mind the ground realities while awarding tickets to its candidates”, the PTI MPA said this while talking to newsmen at his residence here on Friday.
He expressed his astonishment over the mammoth gatherings addressed by PTI Chairman Imran Khan but facing defeat in the recent by elections is a matter of great concern. He urged upon the party leadership to meet party leadership and individuals at district level and make a plan and strategy for awarding tickets, and not to give weightage to a group of a few people as this may cause defeat in the next elections.
Bokhari said, “The movement launched by PTI Chief Imran Khan was to save this country and if this movement faces failure then this will be a bad omen for Pakistan”. While talking about the political scenario in Attock, he said that former District Nazim Major Tahir Sadiq was the most suitable candidate for national assembly seat from PTI platform and ignoring him (Major Tahir Sadiq ) would prove dangerous for the party.
