KARACHI: Chief Minister (CM) Sindh has said that transport problem in Karachi has to be resolved at every cost and Sindh government has allocated Rs 2 billion of intra city bus project.
He said this while presiding over a meeting to discuss intra city and intercity bus projects on Monday.
He held that Sindh government had allocated 2 billion rupees for intra city bus project and provided this amount to Sindh Madarba Limited. Sindh Madarba can provide subsidy out of this fund
Transport minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while briefing the participants of the meeting said that 15 percent of the project will be provided by transport and 15 percent by government. The remaining 70 percent will be acquired on loan. Daewoo company has offered for plying 288 buses on 5 routes.
