ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui has said jurisdiction of Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) is being extended to the far flung areas of the country.

In an interview with the media on Sunday, he said five new branches of PAL will be opened at Gilgit, FATA, Dadu, Muzaffarabad and Multan during the current fiscal year.

He said the regional offices and branches of PAL will help promote literary activities in the country.
