Rawalpindi: Former Prime Minister Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry expressing dissatisfaction from incumbent government has said that federal government is not paying any especial attention towards Kashmir dispute.
He expressed these views while addressing lawyers at Rawalpindi District Bar Council here on Tuesday.
“Instead of solving the issue, Nawaz government has established cordial relations earlier with Vajpayee and with Modi now,” lamented Chaudhry.
Former AJK premier said that he has started struggle himself for the last six months and has contacted leaderships of all political and Hurriyat parties across Kashmir and Europe in this regard.
“Statement of Trump has deeply hurt us so political and military leadership should join hands to face the situation,” Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry mentioned.
He clarified that people of Azad Kashmir only want moral support from Pakistan as they have their own Bar, Supreme Court (SC) and system.
“I blatantly announced to break cease fire line, I don’t want to criticize anyone but Kashmiris have to take decisions by themselves for solution of Kashmir dispute because it is impossible to take due right without deciding to fight own war,” he added.
President Rawalpindi District Bar, Sajjad Akbar Abbasi and others thanked former Premier on the occasion.
