LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said timely completion of development projects in the province features atop the priorities of Punjab government.

Punjab government is fast tracking the execution of public service projects. Timely completion of uplift projects is atop its priority list”, he said this while presiding over a high level meeting here Thursday.

The meeting reviewed the pace of progress in respect of ongoing development projects in the province.

He held that public welfare oriented projects initiated by Punjab government are matchless in terms of transparency and standard. We pursued a balanced development policy during the last four and half years. Resources worth billion of rupees were spent on the development of developed and backward areas.

Punjab government set a unique example by saving billion of rupees in its projects, he said.

He directed the respective departments to continue work with high spirit and diligence to achieve the set development targets.
