ISLAMABAD:(Parliament Times) Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan announced to celebrate 25th December with full zest and zeal throughout the State.In a Statement issued here on Saturday, PM AJK has directed all district organizations, sub-organizations of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) AJK including Youth Wing, Muslim Students Federation Nawaz (MSFN) and Trade wing of the party to celebrate the birthday of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif besides expressing solidarity with Christian Community on Christmas day.
PM AJK directed the party workers and leaders not only to organize special events of celebrations but also to make sure massive participation of workers.Meanwhile, talking on separate meetings with Minister AJK Chaudhary Muhammad Aziz, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Raja Muhammad Naseer, and MLA Abdur Rasheed Turabi, PM said that recent resolution passed in United Nations General Assembly on declaring Jerusalem as Capital of Palestine has proved that world cannot be purchased for Dollars and those who love humanity are still alive. ‘‘American President Trump should not pursue the policies of hatred against Islam to avoid such embarrassments’’ PM AJK opined.He said that Pakistan has represented the sentiments of Muslim community in the United Nations and struggled in the support of the occupied Palestinian state.Terming the UN resolutions on Kashmir issue, PM AJK reiterated that the UN has to fulfil its commitments with regard to the long-term conflict of the world. ‘‘Kashmiri still seeking attention of United Nations to implement its resolution passed since 1948, Kashmir issue is subjected to peace and stability in South Asia’’ PM AJK maintained.
Prime Minister expressed his concerns over the political instability, saying that Pakistan cannot afford any political chaos and political instability as Kashmir’s situation and international affairs are on the grounds that any kind of instability can harm our nation astonishingly.
Prime Minister also stated the endeavours for development taken by the Federal government in past 4 years as per vision of President PML-N Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, adding that he said, ‘‘the PML-N responded to the criticism of the opponents with practical measures instead of slogans by inaugurating many mega project, and facilities to the public have shown a difference in promises and practical measures; The PML-N will regain the victory in the 2018 election by majority of the votes’’
Prime Minister stated that 25th December is a special day in history of Pakistan, Father of the Nation, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah born on this date moreover, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who born on the same date followed the vision of Quaid e Azam and proved himself the real heir of the ideology of Muslim League.
