Rawalpindi: In the memory of APS Peshawar martyred, a ceremony was held here Saturday at Army Heritage Foundation, Ayub National Park.
Different students of the Rawalpindi city, Director Sports and Business AHF, Lt Col (R ), Shahzad Ahmed, DG forests world Col (R) Saleem, A B Abdul Rehman, parents of the students, officers of Pak Army participated while Director General Brig. (r) Zaman Nasrullah Khan Niazi was chief guest on the occasion. A floral wreath was laid at monument of APS chowk to recall the martyrs of APS Peshawar incident.
Addressing on the occasion, Zaman Nasrullah Niazi said although children and teachers have been died in APS Peshawar incident but infact they are alive. He said these martyrs are among the most liked people of Allah. When the enemy could not face the armed forces and brave nation then he committed this nefarious act, he added. He said innocent children were targeted and the entire nation was mourned over the deaths of children and children. He added youth and the children of the country could not stop from these evil acts.
Children of different schools expressing their sentiments said that martyred children have taught the lesson to entire nation regarding rendering sacrifice. Today, they said every child was ready to offer his life sacrifice for motherland.
