Lahore: 3-day Defensive Driving Course arranged by Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) concluded at Rescue & Safety Training Institute (RSTI), Wapda Town here on Thursday.

Drivers from all over the country participated in refresher course. Spokesman FIF Salman Shahid delivered concluded lecture and distributed certificates among participants.

During course, different speakers delivered lectures through multimedia at various topics. Inspector and Trainer Motorway Police Shahzad Yousaf covered the topic traffic rules & regulation. Chief Instructor Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) spoke about technical guidelines regarding ambulance. Ambulance Instructor Rescue 1122 Saleem Shah gave lecture regarding essential equipments of ambulance like oxygen cylinder, first aid kit, ambu bag, finger splint, arm splint etc. Rescue Instructor FIF Abrar Waheed delivered lesson on air way management, patient shifting and CPR. Drivers were briefed about fire safety and firefighting.

Addressing to participants, Head RSTI Zahid Nawaz Gondal vowed to continue driving course. He said that this course has been specially designed for ambulances’ drivers.
