ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has said it is gravely concerned over use of chemical weapons by Indian Forces in Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan is gravely concerned over use of chemical weapons by Indian troops in held Kashmir. The reports of use of chemical weapons by Indian forces in held Kashmir are circulating. Use of chemical weapons by India against Kashmiris is sheer violation of international laws. This matter should be investigated under international laws. India should give access to Independent Human Rights Mission to Occupied Kashmir. India is violating human rights of Kashmiris in held Kashmir” this was said by Foreign Office (FO) spokesman during his weekly press briefing here Thursday.
Regarding Mumbai attacks he told that foreign secretary Tehmina Janjua appeared before ATC in Mumbai attack case and told the court that investigations are not moving forward due to non arrival of Indian witnesses statements.
Responding to a question about Pakistan-US ties he said differences are there due to new US policy. Improvement will come in Pakistan-US relations through talks, he added. Talks are underway between the senior leadership of both the countries in this respect. US secretary of defence will soon visit Pakistan, he stated.
He underlined general Nicholson statements are not new. We have already differed with General Nicholson statements.
Replying to a question about Saudi led Islamic Military Alliance (IMA) he said Pakistan has extended offer to the alliance to afford benefit to it from our experiences. Headway has been made in the first meeting of defence ministers of Islamic military alliance. Important proposals are under consideration. Exchange of views took place on the ways to counter extremism and media campaign.. The proposal for joint exercises and cooperation against terrorism also remained under consideration.
About Kulbhushan Yadav issue he said Indian reply about Kulbhushan has been received which is being considered. However no decision has been taken about his meeting with his mother.
To a question he said Hafiz Saeed was released by the court.
Pakistan is gravely concerned over cultivation of poppy in Afghanistan. Opium and poppy are major source of income for the terrorists. The Afghan army and allied forces should take steps according to International pacts.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has left for Russian to attend Shinghai Cooperation Organization Conference on the invitation of Russian President. Foreign minister Khawaja Asif is leading Pakistan delegation in 7th tripartite Heart of Asia Conference in Azerbaijan , he added.
