Law minister had to resign in broader national interest: Marriyum Aurangzeb
ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that law minister had to resign in the broader national interest.
She said this while talking to media men in the premises of Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad.
She held the country was making rapid strides on the road to development and prosperity on fast track basis after Nawaz Sharif came to power in 2013. Terrorism was being eliminated from the country.
She underlined we should play our respective role by taking into accounts all the aspects. Nawaz Sharif was disqualified in 2017 but he is still rendering sacrifices.
She remarked country can not afford chaos. The citizens of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad heaved sigh of relief after sit in came to end. We will have to move forward in the broader national interest, she stressed.
