Islamabad : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing of petition filed against the release of PML-N leader and parliamentarian Capt (Retd) Muhammad Safdar in Aven Feed Property Reference case.
A division bench of IHC comprised of Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has conducted the hearing of the case.
During the course of the hearing, NAB prosecutor Afzal Qureshi has requested the court to adjourn the hearing till next Thursday.
On this, Justice Amir Farooq has observed that you have sought more time for three times before and asked the NAB prosecutor that why you insist on Thursday, whether it is your lucky day?
The NAB prosecutor told the court that he is busy in trial court on Tuesday and Wednesday therefore he has requested the Thursday.
He also told the court that NAB Islamabad did not received the copy of judgment Sharjeel Memon release case of Sindh High Court.
Later, the court has adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.
