Interior Minister rules out any compromise on freedom of expression

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has vowed not to tolerate any restriction on freedom of expression.

He made these remarks during his visit to the residence of senior journalist Ahmed Noorani who sustained wounds in an attack by unidentified assailants. He inquired after his health and prayed for his early recovery.

Ahsan Iqbal assured to bring all those involved in the incident to justice and said that I am personally monitoring progress on investigation of the incident on daily basis.

He said that all state-of-art resources are being utilized to apprehend the culprits
