Washington: American Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said that the goal of Washington is not pursuing for war but complete and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
Speaking during a visit to the border dividing North and South Korea, he said Pyongyang’s provocations continue to threaten regional and global security despite unanimous condemnation by the UN Security Council.
Meanwhile, North Korea has said it is releasing a South Korean fishing boat after found illegally in North Korean waters.
