Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Commissioner Rawalpindi Tallat Mehmood Gondal has directed to take necessary steps to ensure Merit, Secrecy and transparency at the examination centers of Medical Entry Test going to be held on October 29.
He also ordered to certify security of candidates and said that all concerned departments have to play their part to execute this plan successfully. He said that Merit being the norm of Punjab Government should essentially be guaranteed in Entry Test so that only deserving and brilliant students could be filtered further to fill the shoes for enhancing health sector.
He shared these thoughts while chairing a high level meeting to review the arrangements being made for the smooth happening of Medical Entry Test on 29 this month. Briefing about the arrangements Tallat Mehmood Gondal said that emergency healthcare services will be ensured at all centers, walk-through gates and CCTV cameras to be installed for security purpose and lady police officials be deputed for checking of female students. Candidates as well as invigilators are restricted to bring their mobile phones to test centers. IESCO was directed to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity during test and Traffic Officer to ensure smooth flow of traffic there.
Deputy Commissioner Attock Rana Akbar Hayat, Addoitional deputy Commissioner Tariq Salam, Director Colleges Malik Asghar, Jaffar Mufti Iqbal UHS, Sub Registrar Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Khalid Javed Gorraya CO MC and other concerned officials were also present at the meeting.
