RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) WASA has decided to lay new pipeline from Rawal dam to Pir Wadhai to sort out water problem once for all in the area .
According to media reports, this decision was taken following the visit of the areas undertaken by Vice Chairman WASA Zia Ullah Shah and MD Wasa Raja Shaukat Mehmood. They reviewed the future water requirement of the area and current water availability
A 3-kilometer long underground water pipeline will be laid to supply water to Pirwadhai. This line will be connected with the pipeline through which water is being supplied to Rawalpindi city from Rawal dam.
The existing capability of the tube wells will also be augmented for supplying water to the areas. Filtration plants will also be set up in these localities.
