Pakistan army organizes polo, tent pegging championship in collaboration with Shaheen Air International
Karachi: The Pakistan Army in collaboration with Shaheen Air International has organised a polo and tent pegging championship titled Shaheen Air Balochistan Polo Tournament.
The event aims to promote national harmony and is being conducted from Monday, 18 September to Sunday, 24 September, 2017 at Quetta Polo & Saddle Club. People from all tiers of society are going to join hands through their active participation during the tournament.
The tournament has eight teams representing Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta including teams of different corps from Pakistan Army. It was inaugurated by Major General Asim Malik GOC 41 division & Garrison Commander Quettaand Kashif Sehbai, Chairman, Shaheen Air alongwith major dignitaries.
Students from various institutions also attended the event where a full display of military brass band and tent pegging show captivated the audience.
