Sargodha: (Parliament Times) In a bid to a bring back the international cricket in Pakistan a friendly cricket match was played between a Wounded Tigers and Sargodha Falcon at University ground Sargodha .
The visiting British team (Wounded Tigers) comprised of poets, writers, authors, scholars, and educationalist. Team was lead by Petter Oborne an acclaimed writer of history book pertaining to Pakistani Cricket.
A memo gathering of University of Sargodha including a large number of male and female students and staff participated in the event.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Ishtiqat Ahmed welcomed the visiting English players for promoting positive image of Pakistan. He hoped that more events would be organized in the university to inculcate moderate face of the Pakistani nation.
While taking to media men Petter Oborn, appreciated the sincere and staunch efforts made by the vice Chancellor University of Sargodha in holding this event. He maintained that there goal is to tell the world that Pakistan is a peaceful country. He thanked the citizen f Sargodha for giving them warm well-come. He said that they would try their level best to retain the international Cricket in the Pakistan. Later Vice Chancellor gave away prizes and souvenirs to the players and guests.
