New York: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said that world community should pressurize India for giving right of self determination to Kashmiris.
While addressing a meeting held in New York , Lodhi declared giving the right of self determination to people of Kashmir is ‘imperative ’ for peace in the region adding world community should pressurize India for making it possible.
She said India is using brutal tactics to suppress the voice of ongoing movement of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
Pakistan has raised the voice of Kashmiri’s at every forum, she added.
She went on to say that it is necessary that world community should pressurize India for giving people of Kashmir their due right of self -determination for paving the way for peace in the region
