RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) District Education Authority (DEA) Rawalpindi has decided to set up IT Laboratories in 45 Middle, High and Higher Secondary schools of district Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs 60 million.

DEA Rawalpindi has become active for establishing IT laboratories after Provincial School Education Authority has sought report from DEA about delay in establishment of these laboratories.

The IT laboratories are being set up in 20 middle schools at the cost of Rs 10 million and 25 higher and secondary high schools at the cost of Rs 50 million.

Assistant Education Officer Rawalpindi Salim Raza said that they are working to fast track the establishment of IT laboratories in the schools of district Rawalpindi where they are not existing.
