ISLAMABAD: Iran has slammed US President Trump’s comments against Pakistan in its new Afghan strategy.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said US today condemns other countries is the result of Washington’s wrong and ill-timed policies in the region, particularly in Afghanistan.
He said US should stop the policy of interfering in regional countries’ affairs and making decisions for them.
He said that the United States’ opportunist strategies, unilateral policies and wrong interferences are outcome of nothing but escalating chaos, growth of terrorism and extremism in the region.
He said that the US government should not meddle in regional states’ affairs.
