Multan: Lawyers community has observed strike all over Punjab province on the call of Punjab Bar Council (PBC) due to conflict between bar and bench.
According to media reports, lawyers are not appearing before courts in connection with hearing of the cases due to which courts proceedings are being affected badly and hearings are being delayed and adjourned.
On the other hand, strike of Multan high court and district bar has entered into 29th day.
The clients are facing unprecedented difficulties as they come from remote areas in connection with their cases but they have to return with no progress in their cases.
On the other hand, lawyers demanded withdrawal of arrest warrants of president High Court Bar Multan Shair Zaman Qureshi. Strike would continue till acceptance of our demands, they announced.
