ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir has expressed dismay over the filing of reference against Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minster Raja Farooq Haider by Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) chapter and said that this attitude was deplorable and condemnable. In a statement on Saturday, Chaudhry Barjees Tahir said that AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider was a patriotic Kashmiri and Pakistani and PPP’s reference against him exposed PPP leadership before people of AJK. He said Raja Farooq Haider was recognized as patriotic and a fair person in all over Azad Jammu Kashmir and Pakistan. Chuadhry Barjees Tahir said that Farooq Haider had spent his whole life for the protection of rights of people of AJK and continued struggle for accession of Kashmir to Pakistan. He further added that AJK PM was raising voice for the freedom of Kashmir and accession to Pakistan in all over the world. He added the former PM Nawaz had showed generosity for PPP’s government in AJK to fulfill its tenure smoothly but in return PPP as replying with negative tactics and conspiracies against PML-N government.
