Islamabad : The election of new Prime Minister of the country will be held in the Parliament House today(Tuesday).
For this purpose President Mamnoon Hussain has called the session of National Assembly at 3:00 PM.
After the disqualification of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the ruling PML(N) has nominated Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for the highest slot , while there are six candidates from the opposition in the run for leader of the lower house of the parliament against him.
The new Prime Minister , would take oath of his new assignment today at 7:00 pm in Aiwan-i-Sadr. President Mamnoon Hussian would administer oath from the winning candidate.
It is very much likely that ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif may also attend the oath taking ceremony.
Provincial Chief Minister, foreign diplomats, top brass of armed forces, members of parliament, judges, bureaucrats and dignitaries would also participate the oath taking ceremony.
