Islamabad : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that some peoples’ dreams coming into the power by wrong way would not be translated into reality and maintained that those will have to wait for the next general elections.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed his views while chairing a high profile meeting in Islamabad after the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) reserved its judgment about the Panamagate case on Frinday.
According to sources, federal ministers, advisors, special assistants to the premier including Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shehbash Sharif attended the meeting, however, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar is not present.
In the meeting legal advisers of PM briefed the participated of the meeting about the proceeding of the SC hearing and possible verdict in Panamagate case.
The prime minister stated in the meeting that the opposition will not gain anything from the case.
The sources said different names are being discussed for the slot of Prime Minister in case Nawaz Sharif is disqualified in the Panama case ruling.
The legal team briefed the participants about the proceedings of the high-profile case that was wrapped up on Friday afternoon.
Sources said that it was also decided in the meeting that every decision by the apex court in this high profile case would be accepted.
On this occasion all participants of the meeting while rejecting the demand of PM’s resignation by the opposition said that Nawaz Sharif not only has support of the people but also party workers adding that all allies are standing with him (PM Sharif).
It is worth mentioning here that Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali has decided to break his silence regarding ongoing political situation arising out of the Panama case hearing.
And in this regard according to the Ministry of Interior, Chaudhry Nisar will hold a press conference on Sunday at pm.
It is vital to mention here that the interior minister last made a brief appearance in the cabinet’s meeting on July 13 and left early.
