MDA launches extensive operation against Qabza Mafia

MIRPUR (AJK): Mirpur Development Authority has launched an extensive operation clean up to remove illegal occupation of the plots in various housing sectors especially in various blocks of Residential Sector F/3 including its Part-3 and Part-5 bocks land Khambaal sector by removing the buildings, official sources said.

Authorities told this Correspondent that the Anti-encroachment squad of the MDA, led by its head Inspector Chan Perveiz came in to action to remove the illegal encroachments from Tuesday on the special directives of AJK minister for MDA, MDHA, Sports and Culture Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Director General MDA/Commissioner Mirpur Division Zaffar Mahmood Khan and Director Estate Management MDA Nadeem Janjua (senior officer from DMG Group of AJK Civil Administrative Service), with prime focus to get vacated the illegally-occupied MDAs’ owned state land including the already-allotted residential and commercial plots in Housing Sector F-3 (Part III) as well as in Khambal residential sector.

Heavy Police contingent headed by a Magistrate was accompanied by the MDA’s Anti-encroachment state during the operation against the unlawful occupants to discourage any resistance from the unlawful occupants.

“The phased drive against illegal occupants of the MDA’s owned state land including already-allotted plots in MDA-s controlled housing sectors will continue till all the illegally occupied plots are got vacated from the clutches of the unlawful occupants”, said Inspector Chan Pervez, In-charge of the anti-encroachment cell of the MDA when contacted on Wednesday.
Pervez said that three unlawful occupations were removed in Sector F-3 (Part -III) and Khambal residential sectors by removing the encroachments during the drive on Tuesday.
