PM Raja Farooq Haider pays surprise visit to Kohala entry point

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the Kohala entry point while heading to Islamabad and met with tourists and inquired about the available facilities to them and behaviour and attitudes of police, administration and other staff of concerned departments.

The Prime Minister remained present for a long while there and had chat with the tourists on the occasion. While talking to the tourists the prime minister said that the AJK was wonderful place to visit and enjoy the pleasant weather of the State.

He termed the tourists guests of the State and said the tourists would be provided the facilities so they could make their trips memorable. The Prime Minister ordered the various departments for the provision of all facilities to the tourists. He said that the people of AJK were very hospitable and the land of AJK was fully secure and peaceful.

“The government was striving to provide all possible facilities to the tourists”, he added.
He directed to all the concerned departments to take immediate steps for the provision of all possible services to the tourists. He said the promotion of tourism in the AJK was a one of the top priority of government.
The Prime Minister ordered for the cleanliness of the tourist-spots and provision of fool proof security to the tourists. He urged the youth to exploit the employment opportunities in tourism friendly areas to generate their income.
