MARDAN: Five people were killed and 11 injured as a bus collided with a truck on Gujar Garhi Ring Road Wednesday morning.
A Bajaur-bound bus, which had departed from Rawalpindi, collided with the truck which was parked on one side of the road.
The deceased and injured were shifted to Mardan Medical Complex.
The deceased have yet to be identified.
Reckless driving by bus drivers has claimed many lives in the country.
In February, this year, four members of a family were killed and seven others injured in an accident on National Highway near Khuzdar, Balochistan.
The accident occurred when a bus collided with a van near Wadh. As a result, a woman and a man along with two girls were killed on the spot.
