MIRPUR (AJK): (Parliament Times) ‘Jumma-tul-Widah’, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, will be observed as ‘Youm-e-Dua’ throughout Azad Jammu & Kashmir to pray for the early success of the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle against Indian occupation.

Call for observing the Jumma tul Widah as ‘Youm e Dua’ has been given by the Prime Minister of Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan. In this context, special prayers would be offered in all small and major mosques for the success of the Kashmir freedom struggle. Whereas, prayers would be held for the Kashmiri martyrs offered the supreme sacrifices of their lives for the noble cause.

Moreover, public rallies would be taken out at all District and Tehsil headquarters on this occasion to reiterate complete solidarity with Kashmiri brethren in occupied Jammu Kashmir.

Meanwhile, all arrangements have been made to observe the day.In Mirpur, ‘Youm-e-Dua’ rally would be taken out from District Courts premises under the auspices of the National Events Organizing Committee. The rally would pass through major streets and culminate at the site of its origin with the special prayer for the early success of the Kashmir freedom movement. A meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ansar Yaqoob here Wednesday gave final touches to the programs of the scheduled ‘youm e Dua’ in the district. The meeting was attended among others by representatives of all segments of the civil society including senior officials of district administration including Additional SP Mirza Zahid, ADC (G) Raja Farooq Akram, Assistant Commissioner Raja Qaiser Aurangzeb, Secretary National Events Organizing Committee Altaf Hamid Rao, Presidents of Markazi Anjuman e Tajran Ch. Muhammad Naeem and Asif Dar besides the officials of the Kashmir Liberation Cell and the heads of various government departments.
