Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) The Punjab Government has given approval for hiring 3271 professors and lecturers on vacant seats across the Punjab including Rawalpindi Division.
The hiring will be made on the vacant seats in 550 colleges located in Punjab, while the hiring will be made through Punjab Public Service Commission.
The Punjab Higher Education Commission has also issued directives to Punjab Public Service Commission in this regard.
Around 1788 female and 1483 male lecturers and professors will be hired in the process.
According to notification, 1078 female lecturers, 478 Assistant Professors, 201 Associate Professors and 31 Professors will be hired. 820 male lecturers, 424 Assistant Professors, 197 Associate Professors and 42 Professors will be hired.
