Islamabad:(Parliament Times) The prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that stabilization of democracy, strengthening democratic institutions and establishing rule of law were vital for the prosperity and stability of Pakistan
The AJK premier made these assertions while addressing the “Estakam e Pakistan†conference here on Saturday. Khan said it was Pakistan Muslim League (N) who put Pakistan back on the path of progress and prosperity. “Whenever the PML (N) came into power, the country had worst economic and security conditions but by the grace of Allah Almighty the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif handled the issues amicably†he added. He was of the view that PML (N) can guarantee the progress and stability of the country.
Special assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan Dr.Syed Asif Karmani and Member AJK Legislative Assembly Pir Syed Ali Raza Bukhari also spoke to the participants while AJK Minister for Health,Finance, Planning & Development Dr.Najeeb Naqi, Minister for Sports Ch Muhammad Saeed,member Assembly Ch Masood Khalid, president PML (N) youth Muhammad Hanif Malik, Sardar Mehtab Khan,Zulfiqar Malik and Pir Shabbir Hussain were present on the occasion.Meanwhile the Prime Minister condemned in strong terms the terrorist attack on Deputy Chairman of the Senate Moulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidery at Mastong last day in which he got injured and other people embraced martyrdom. Terming it as a dastardly act he expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the victims of the dastardly act.The Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of the father of Muhammad Aslam Mir bureau chief Dunya News Muzaffarabad. The Prime Minister prayed for the departed soul.
