MIRPUR (AJK): (Parliament Times) At least eight persons were killed and other was injured when a private passenger jeep fell in to a deep gorge near Shaghil village in Haveli district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The ill-fated Jeep was on its way from Shaghil to forward Kahuta when it met the mishap following failure of the breaks, In charge police officer Haveili PS told the Daily Parliament Times reporter over telephone this afternoon. The injured was shifted to nearby hospital for the treatment.
Meanwhile, local police have arrested the driver of the jeep and further investigations are in progress.
