LAHORE : Pakistan’s squash player Maria Toorpakai Wazir has been added by International Olympic Committee (IOC) in its sports commission where she will assist the committee to make policies for betterment of women in Olympics.
According to details, Maria Toorpakai Wazir has become a part of those 38 percent members which will represent women in IOC. IOC had increased the female quota in the commissions in 2013.
Maria Toorpakai declared her inclusion in sports commission an honor for herself and her country, and said Pakistan will get a lot of benefits from this step.
