Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the slapping of draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) one more time on a youth from Maisuma, Ashiq Hussein, who has been languishing in Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu for last many years.
Ashiq Hussain has been slapped with PSA 5th time. Police booked him under some new cases and after court granted him bail in all cases, the authorities in order to prolong his detention, booked him under a fresh PSA. Similarly another youth of the same area, Faisal Aslam Khan is also languishing in jail and despite court orders is not being released.
Terming the use of black law PSA to prolong detention of these young boys as state terrorism, Yasin Malik said that thousands of youth were in jails and the so-called rulers were prolonging their illegal detention by using black law against them.
He said that PDP leaders and their police should know that according to the law of retribution they would have to answer for their crimes against humanity.
Meanwhile, the JKLF has strongly condemned the attack by Indian army on many villages of Bijbihara especially Banderpora in which dozens of young and old have sustained grave injuries.
