Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, a court in Srinagar has once again remanded the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik for five more days.

Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested by Indian police on 18th March 2017 and was sent to Central Jail, Srinagar on a 12 days judicial remand.

On 29thmarch he was presented before 2nd additional session’s judge who again remanded him to judicial custody until 11th April 2017.

Today, the JKLF Chief was presented before 1st additional sessions judge who remanded him for five more days and sent him to Srinagar Central Jail, again. Muhammad Yasin Malik has been implicated in a false case.

The JKLF in a statement strongly condemned the extension in the remand of Muhammad Yasin Malik terming it as a tactic to prolong his detention.
