Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said extremely low turnout of sham parliamentary elections in three districts of Indian occupied Kashmir has once again vindicated that Kashmiris do not accept any electoral or political process under Indian constitution.
In his reaction over the so-called by-elections in Indian held Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider Khan said the lowest turnout has further exposed that India cannot win loyalties of Kashmiri nation despite spending billions of rupees there.
He strongly condemned martyrdom of four more Kashmiris by Indian troops in different areas of the held valley on Monday. The AJK Prime Minister asked the Pakistan government to launch diplomatic efforts for convening special session of the UN Security Council to ponder over deteriorating situation of Occupied Kashmir.
He said it is high time that all political forces in Pakistan demonstrate unity keeping their political variances aside and raise voice for the struggling people of Kashmir. The Prime Minister apprehended that India after receiving humiliation in election drama can launch further aggressive military operation in occupied territory.
Terming India as depraved enemy, Raja Farooq Haider Khan said people of Occupied Kashmir are being exterminated by India under a well- planned policy. Paying glowing tributes to the valiant people including men, women, young and elders, he said matchless sacrifices rendered by them will not go waste.
The Prime Minister called upon the international community to take serious exception of human rights violations in Kashmir and play role for stopping inhuman atrocities against innocent people in the held valley. Meanwhile a protest rally was held in Muzaffarabad on Monday to condemn the martyrdom of twelve Kashmiri youth and brute use of force on peaceful protesters in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion sham parliamentary elections.
People belonging to all walks of life including Kashmiri refugees, women and children participated in the rally. They were holding banners and placards inscribed with pro freedom and anti India slogans. Addressing the participants, speakers appealed to United Nation and international community to exert pressure on India to stop genocide of Kashmiris.
