West Indies, emboldened by a record-breaking victory against Pakistan in the ODI series opener, will take on Sarfraz Ahmed’s men in the second ODI today.
Pakistan were left reeling after a shock loss to the depleted hosts on Friday, after Jason Mohammed rocketed his side to a four-wicket win with a rapid 91 not out.
West Indies successfully chased a target of more than 300 for the first time, despite the fact they were without their star players Kieron Pollard, Carlos Brathwaite, Samuel Badree and Sunil Narine – all of whom are in India for the IPL.
The second ODI will be played at Providence at 6:30pm PST.
