Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Rawalpindi Excise and Taxation department claimed to have collected around Rs3 billion in taxes during the last nine months from across Rawalpindi Division.
The Rawalpindi Excise and Taxation department has achieved 65 percent of total target of tax collection during the last nine month of the ongoing fiscal year. The department has collected around Rs302 billion in taxes during the fiscal year. The department had set a target of over Rs 4billion in fiscal year.
The Rawalpindi Excise and Taxation department collects property, Motor vehicle, excise duty, luxury house tax, professional tax farm house and other taxes from Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal,
