Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the APHC General Secretary and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has urged the people across the world to raise voice against the unabated civilian killings at the hands of Indian forces in the territory.

Shabbir Ahmed Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the killing of three civilians in the firing of Indian forces’ personnel on protesters in Chadoora as extremely inhuman. He also condemned the Indian police for intercepting the ambulance carrying the martyred youth’s body and harassing the bereaved family, saying that this was the height of tyranny and barbarity.

Shabbir Shah expressed wonder how still some shameless pro-India politicians beg for votes in occupied Kashmir. “Those believing in electoral politics are nothing but puppets. No one should fall into the trap of the deceptive slogans of such collaborators. Boycott the so-called elections, I assure you, the freedom will be near, In Sha Allah,” he asked the Kashmiris.

The DFP Chairman urged the people of India to listen to the voice of their conscience and pressurize their government to stop killings in occupied Kashmir and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations. “Your successive governments have been suppressing our genuine voices and the just freedom movement for the last 70 years but are unable to cow down our resolve and pro-freedom spirit,” he told the Indians.

“How ironic is it that in Indian states, special task forces are being constituted for the protection of animal rights, while as new lethal weapons are being tried on the people in Kashmir. World must come to our rescue as Indian forces and their collaborators have turned the Kashmir Valley into a slaughterhouse,” he added.

The APHC General Secretary urged the Kashmiri to continue their mission for freedom as history was witness that no nation had been enslaved for long. Paying homage to the youth martyred in Chadoora, he said that the best tribute to these martyrs was to stay away from pro-India politics and puppets.

Meanwhile, the DFP District President for Shopian, Tanveer Ahmad, led a delegation to Nazimpora and paid tributes to Padgampora martyrs. The delegates expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
